Ellie Lieber is a ceramicist originally from Rural Illinois, where she grew up working in her mother’s flower farm. She received her BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute in 2026, and has received grants like the Leap Award and the McKeown special project award. Her practice revolves around the intersection of agriculture, ceramics, and digital fabrication. She is currently using tools like 3D modeling, printing, and scanning to analyze seeds and florals from her home, and transform them into elaborate ceramic sculptures.
